PSG Tech’s NEN E Club took the bold step and launched E360, NEN’s first national E Leaders conclave in South India, in September.
Fate decided to challenge their ingenuity. The first batch of E Leaders arrived 24 hours early. The Jet Airways strike led to several speakers arriving late. The chief guest for the closing forgot to turn up.
E-training kicked in. Guests come in too early? Fine, show them the town. Speakers late? Reshuffle slots. Keynote speaker missing? Well, share experiences and get people from the audience on stage.
In the end, it turned out to be a fabulous show – one that inspired fellow E Leaders from Durgapur and Chennai to recommend PSG’s E Club as September’s ‘NEN E Cell of the Month’.
It was recognition well deserved. E 360 saw some of the country’s best entrepreneurial thinkers, including Dr David Martin, Executive Chairman, M-CAM, Sanjeev Bhikhchandani, CEO, Naukri.com and Karthik Kumar, Founder, Evam. It was also truly national, attracting 236 E Leaders from 38 colleges.
Importantly, E360 was an incredible community effort. Institutional support from PSG; enthusiasm of NEN E Leaders who traveled from other cities; collaboration with NEN Speakers Bureau to bring in speakers and with NEN consultants to plan and market – all these factors contributed to E360’s success, reveals coordinator Rahul Sakhamuri.
