The Internal Quality Assurance Committee (IQAC) of Jyoti Nivas College recently conducted a National Level Seminar on the topic, "Are our women and daughters safe today? Listen, feel and respond to women's voices." With the gruesome attacks on women in the past couple of months, the Seminar's topic seemed appropriate as it allowed the attendees to address the main question of the seminar - are our women really safe in a country which on one hand praises women and on the other, brutally attacks them.The Seminar was held over two days at the College auditorium addressing various aspects of women issues right from moral policing to sexuality.
