There seems to be very little space for creativity and enterprise for today’s engineering student. This very frustration has however been the factor motivating students at Kumaraguru College of Technology in Coimbatore to set up LEED — League for Entrepreneurial Empowerment and Development.
Founded to channel the passion and drive of engineers, the advent boasts of having 200 students. “Our affiliation with the National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) sees us host an E-week annually, regular elevator pitches and brand development sessions and events like Jugaad and Udaan where activities are held to improve the business acumen of participants,” remarks Vishnu Prasanna Kumar, President of LEED.
