NEN Consulting
NEN Consultants, based in the field, provide NEN member institutes with expert help and advice on building entrepreneurship programmes. This is a critical resource for institutes wishing to ramp up existing programmes rapidly, or for those just launching their entrepreneurship programmes. The NEN Resource Bureau comprises a pool of over 1000 entrepreneurs, investors, and other professionals, recruited by NEN, who have volunteered to participate in NEN member institute programmes. Programme organizers can draw on these experts, and enlist the help of the NEN team in making the right match for their programmes. |

NEN Online
NEN Online empowers the NEN community, placing in members’ hands the tools to build networks; organize and market activities; access materials, programmes and events. NEN Online is particularly valuable to those wishing to reach entrepreneurial communities outside their own institutes. The newsletter recognizes accomplishments of student leaders and members; showcases useful events, competitions, and resources; features expert guidance and interviews with industry leaders and achievers. NEN Faculty Development Programme
NEN offers an integrated and comprehensive set of faculty development programmes to motivated faculty from member institutes who lead and build high-impact entrepreneurship programmes on campus. These courses are designed and delivered by leading international and Indian faculty in entrepreneurship, including from IIT Kanpur, IIM Calcutta, Stanford’s STVP, London Business School, Columbia University and NEN. NEN Press: Teaching Materials and Tools NEN is building relevant entrepreneurship teaching content for India and other emerging markets. NEN Press actively sources high-quality entrepreneurship teaching content, and reviews, edits and packages the material for entrepreneurship programme organizers and new entrepreneurs. NEN Press makes the material available through CDs and NEN Online. NEN E Leader Programmes and E Cell Workshops NEN E Leader programme offers leadership workshops, programmes, events and recognition to students heading campus-based entrepreneurship cells. NEN E Cell Workshops, held regularly for new batches of e-cell coordinators and their Faculty Advisors, help connect students from different institutes; introduce them to the ways to organize e-cells and manage and run events and activities more successfully; and help them understand and use NEN resources effectively. |
National Platform |
TATA First Dot powered by NEN 'TATA First Dot, powered by NEN' is India's first national mentoring and recognition platform for student start-ups. A unique initiative that promotes, mentors and showcases India's most dynamic and youngest entrepreneurs, TATA First Dot is run by the collaborative efforts of TATA Group and NEN Trust. Through a range of activities and programmes, NEN E Week connects lakhs of young students across the country to take part in a week-long campaign to focus public attention on opportunities in today’s India. Experts, industry captains, non-profits leaders and faculty members come together to encourage, guide and inspire students to take action. In 2009, NEN E Week engaged over 3,50,000 students in over 2500 events across 30 cities. (www.eweekindia.org) |

The annual NEN E Week awards given at the grand finale of NEN E Week India recognize extraordinary achievements and efforts of NEN member institutes and students. Industry leaders and experts are invited as chief guests to the gala awards ceremony and winners of the awards receive significant attention from both national and regional media. In 2008-2009, the NEN Hottest Startups Awards, India’s first-ever community-chosen awards for startups, drew participation from over 600 startups across 35 cities and 20 sectors. The awards showcased the largest and most comprehensive pool of high-potential startups to date.
