International Women's Day 2012We are women, women who chose to make a dent in the universe, be it small, or big. We are smart, savvy and we strive to live up to our potential. We are entrepreneurs, we support entrepreneurs, and we are the makers of our own destiny. We hold our past, present and future in our hands. We want to make a difference, and we dream of making this world a better place. We are women, and we cherish this gift of womanhood, the ability to stay strong and stay tall.

As we celebrate the 101th International Women’s Day today, the NEN Trust team wishes all our women members and supporters of our women members a very happy Women's Day!

As Cherie Blair, Founder of Cherie Blair Foundation for Women aptly said, "Today is about celebrating what women can bring to the table. Giving women the chance to become financially independent and make the most of their talents is vital if we want to achieve equal opportunities for men and women."

To celebrate this day for women, we have featured here a few women entrepreneurs who decided to let convention fly out of the window, and started ventures on their own. Read up on their ventures and what made them start up, and be inspired:
